Show off your Blue Lip Selfie!

1 November, 2016

Our Blue Lip Selfie campaign has a fantastic response each year and it is wonderful to see so many of you put on your blue lips and show your support!  This year, we want even more of you to take part.

Blue Lip Selfie of the Day

Pout those blue lips and get involved! Last year, we received some brilliantly quirky, funny, and creative photos in a bid to be Blue Lip Selfie of the Day. For 2016, we’ll be running a fantastic prize draw for the campaign’s best Blue Lip Selfie of the Day – full details available at www.bluelipselfie.co.uk.

How to get involved with Blue Lip Selfie – www.bluelipselfie.co.uk and #BlueLipSelfie

Taking part in Blue Lip Selfie is easy! Take a photo of yourself or team with blue lips and share it on social media using the campaign’s official hashtag #BlueLipSelfie. You can also directly upload a selfie to the gallery at www.bluelipselfie.co.uk and customise your photo with fun blue cartoon lips. Don’t forget to share your selfie on your own social media pages using #BlueLipSelfie!
Wearing blue lips as a visible sign of support for mouth cancer is a positive conversation starter, so why not wear blue lips around the office to raise awareness?

In your selfie pack, you should find your selfie stick, some blue ‘lips on sticks’ and stickers you can have some fun with.

To get more involved, you can purchase additional materials such as plastic lips or blue lipsticks, visit the Oral Health Foundation’s shop at www.mouthcancer.org/shop.

As well as the official gallery, there is an informative video on the microsite featuring case studies of people who have survived mouth cancer – all because their dentist spotted signs of the disease early.

So what are you waiting for? Show the world your perfect Blue Lip Selfie pout and be part of something huge that aims to get everybody talking about mouth cancer!
