The future of everyday health
Having joined forces in 2011, Simplyhealth and Denplan have moved from strength to strength remaining leaders in the cash plan and dental plan markets. Moving forward, we’ll be uniting under a single brand to give us a stronger voice, larger presence and an increased ability to support all of our customers with their everyday healthcare needs.
The union of the two brands reflects Simplyhealth’s future vision: to be the first point of call for everyday health. As always we’ll strive to provide the best possible preventive care to keep the UK healthy. Speaking at a brand launch event last night, Director of Corporate Pam Whelan said:
“It’s great to see so many valued clients and intermediaries here tonight to celebrate the coming together of two fantastic brands.We take great pride and care in building relationships with our clients and intermediaries. We’re very much looking forward to working with them this year to deliver our new brand identity.”
What does this mean for Denplan?
The Denplan name will be retained as a product offered by Simplyhealth. The products will continue to be serviced in the same way and by the same teams. Aligning the two brands will help us streamline our operations to offer a better service than ever.
Chief Executive of Simlpyhealth, Romana Abdin, said: “We have always worked with employers to help people make the most of life through better everyday health. his goes right back to our original purpose and reason for being. There are complex challenges in health and social care We all know we have an ageing population, we’re working longer and there is a rise in mental health conditions. Coming together under one brand will help us to tackle those challenges. And we’ll continue to support charities to help fulfil our purpose, by donating 10% of our profits every year.”
